May 1st Trekking in Chiaramonte - Neviere, Cava Fico, and Porchetta

On May 1st, we return to walk through the territory of Chiaramonte Gulfi for the third edition of one of our most beloved events.
A trek that combines nature, history, and conviviality. We will walk along the paths and landscapes of the Iblei, crossing places that tell the story of the life and traditions of the Chiaramonte area: we will visit the ancient neviere (ice houses), a testament to an ingenious system for storing ice used in the past, and reach the evocative Cava Fico spring, nestled in nature.
What will make this day even more special is our unmissable lunch break along the trail. The star of the show will be the porchetta prepared by the skilled hands of Marco Puglisi. There will also be bread and cannoli from Pavone - Pasticceria contadina, all served and portioned directly by your Ciaotrekking guides during our mid-hike stop.
