Foraging for Wild Greens among Muragghi and Ciusi (RG)

Spring is the perfect season to experience the Iblei through the aromas, colors, and sounds that envelop the landscape. In March, nature awakens in all its intensity: flowers burst into vibrant colors, scents fill the air, birdsong accompanies our steps, and water flows through small streams and wider watercourses all the way to the sea.
It is a time of harmony and beauty that regenerates the spirit and invites us to slow down and savor the moment. Within this setting lies one of the most deeply rooted traditions of the area: the gathering of wild herbs and greens.
Ciaotrekking dedicates this walk to discovering wild plants, their uses, and their characteristics—a body of knowledge that, until a few decades ago, was part of our grandparents' daily lives. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to observe, identify, and taste wild herbs with sweet or bitter notes, immersing ourselves in an experience that blends nature, culture, and respect for the land.
