From Ibla, we head up towards Ragusa before immersing ourselves in nature, following the old 'trazzera' (ancient mule track) that once connected Modica, descending all the way to the Irminio river. A journey through history and evocative landscapes, retracing the ancient paths once trodden by travelers of old.
After our descent, we’ll treat ourselves to a special lunch break: back by popular demand, we’ll enjoy porchetta (roast pork) served during our picnic, accompanied by good wine and sides, finishing off with a cannolo prepared right on the spot.
Following this restorative break, we’ll head back up along the river to find ourselves beneath Ibla, from where we’ll return to our starting point by following the ancient path that once linked Modica to Ibla.
