Snow Party - Snowshoeing on Etna

An unforgettable Sunday on the northern slope of Etna, exploring the Monti Sartorius, Rifugio Baracca, and the Bosco delle Betulle. We will use snowshoes to traverse off-trail paths, immersing ourselves in the unique atmosphere of the birch, beech, and pine forests. During the hike, we will stop for lunch at an unstaffed mountain hut, warming up by the fireplace.
Hike Details

• Fee: € 35.00 (includes guide, accident insurance, and event organization).
  For insurance purposes, please provide: full name and tax code (codice fiscale).
• Excluded: round-trip travel expenses to the meeting point, packed lunch.
• Travel: own car (drivers, please bring snow chains).
• Meeting point: Sunday, February 09, at 09:00 AM at the parking lot in front of the Chiesa Sant’Andrea Apostolo - Milo.

Technical Specifications

• Route: loop, approximately 5/6 hours of walking (including lunch break).

• Winter trekking clothing.

• Wool hat, gloves, sweater, windbreaker.
• 1.5 liters of water.
• For drivers: snow chains.
