Extreme Aeolian Islands - Filicudi and Alicudi

October 3rd to 5th, 2025
Immersed in the deep blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the northeastern coast of Sicilia, the Aeolian Islands – home of Aeolus, god of the winds – are a staple of our hiking calendar.
Our journey will take us to the two “extreme islands” of the archipelago, Filicudi and Alicudi, amidst wild landscapes and the evocative contrasts of volcanoes and sea. A UNESCO World Heritage site since 1999, these gems of the Tyrrhenian offer a unique setting where nature, history, and silence intertwine.

  • Filicudi: rugged landscapes, a picturesque village, and archaeological sites like Capo Graziano.
  • Alicudi: the most solitary of the Aeolian Islands, with its slow pace of life and the enchanting view from Filo dell’Arpa.

An experience that combines nature, trekking, and an authentic island atmosphere.
