Night Ascent to Mongibello - Sunrise and Summit Craters

High-altitude bivouac – Sunrise and Summit Craters. These are destinations every hiker should have on their bucket list: the most coveted and scenic spots on Etna.
The experience of a bivouac, the wonder of waking up at sunrise at an altitude of 2880 m, the allure of the central craters, and the majesty of the Valle del Bove, all together for the first time over two fantastic days, standing before one of the most evocative natural spectacles in Europe.

Fee: € 70.00 - Includes guide service, accident insurance, organization, and a Volcanological guide. (If it is not possible to reach the Summit Craters for safety reasons and we do not use the Volcanological guide, the cost will decrease by € 20.00).
Costs do not include: travel expenses to reach the meeting point, dinner, breakfast, and packed lunch.

Highlights: lunar landscapes, lava flows, Summit craters, and sunrise at 2900 meters.
Difficulty: challenging
Required equipment: trekking clothing, backpack, hiking boots, hat, winter sleeping bag, sleeping mat, sunscreen, sweater, waterproof jacket, neck warmer, gloves, face mask, flashlight, 2.5 liters of water, packed dinner for Saturday, and packed breakfast and lunch for Sunday.
