A journey spanning seven stages over four months, designed to give everyone the chance to plan ahead so that nothing is left behind.

There are places where the shifting structure of the terrain creates and releases an immensity of colors. Today's excursion, along the Licodia-Grammichele route, will feature exactly these characteristics. We will begin our hike in the center of Licodia, and after just a few steps, we will be immediately immersed in the valley that connects the two municipalities. Heading north, the landscape will offer us outcrops of gypsum formations that are intriguing for their unique features. We will walk through a wonderful place amidst vast expanses of greenery and breathtaking views. We will have the chance to observe numerous bird species and admire the blooming of wild orchids and gypsum-loving flora, typical of these chalky environments. Our rest/refreshment stop will be inside a typical, noble Iblean farmhouse. Our arrival point will be the main square of Grammichele, famous for its unique hexagonal layout.

Fee: € 15,00 - Includes guide services, accident insurance, and excursion organization. For insurance purposes, we kindly ask you to send us your: full name and tax code (codice fiscale).
Expenses do not include: travel to and from the meeting point.

End of excursion: 4:30 PM, Grammichele.
Itinerary: marked and unmarked trails, forest tracks, and old mule paths (trazzere).
Travel: use of your own car.
Difficulty: Medium.
Required equipment: trekking clothing, small backpack, hiking boots, trekking poles, hat, sweater, waterproof jacket, and 1.5 liters of water.
