A journey spanning seven stages over four months, to give everyone the chance to plan ahead so that nothing is left behind.

This first stage will lead us from Monterosso Almo to Licodia Eubea, descending towards the Iblei countryside, which in this stretch is rich in clay and limestone rocks. The history of these lands leads us to discover paths marked by the slow movement of man, accompanied by weary footsteps that have remained unchanged for centuries. The days were marked by the work of man and animal: sowing, harvesting, plowing…. our journey today will conclude upon arriving in Licodia Eubea, a land of conquests, castles, and neighborhoods rich in history and tradition.

Highlights: A front-row view over the entire valley, crossing the Dirillo river area all the way to Licodia.
Fee: € 15,00 - Includes guide services, accident insurance, and excursion organization. For insurance purposes, we kindly ask you to send us: your full name and tax code (codice fiscale).
Expenses do not include: travel to and from the meeting point.

Itinerary type: marked and unmarked trails, forest tracks, and old mule tracks (trazzere).
Travel: own car.
Difficulty: Medium.
Required equipment: trekking clothing, small backpack, hiking boots, trekking poles, hat, sweater, waterproof jacket, and 1.5 liters of water.
