Eoliando at Easter - Salina - Filicudi and Alicudi

The Eolie are ancient creatures: located in the lower Tyrrhenian Sea, about 40 kilometers from the Sicilian coast, they were born from the sea during the Pleistocene and have evolved over time, diversifying their physical form. This evolution is still ongoing; one only needs to observe the Strombolian activity or dive into the waters to understand that even the underground life is in constant ferment. But the Eolie are also "Malvasie"; recognized as the best amber wines in all of Italy for their harmonic fullness, fragrance, and liqueur-like body. Salina, this surprising island, offers beautiful hikes between the sea and the mountains, and the island's villages made it famous worldwide for the film “Il Postino” starring Massimo Troisi. Hikes to Monte dei Porri, starting from Pollara after visiting the house from “Il Postino”. Hike from Lingua to Monte Fossa delle Felci, guided tastings, and the sea.
Filicudi shows itself in all its wild and almost inhospitable aspect: silhouetted against the sea, halfway between Alicudi and Salina. The last day will be spent on the solitary Alicudi, home to only a few hundred people; the slowed pace of life leads to mental serenity.

Fee: € 170,00 - Includes guide service, insurance, and excursion organization.
Other expenses: € 350,00. Includes: hotel accommodation in double, twin, or triple rooms, dinners and breakfasts from the evening of the first day until the morning of the last, private bus transfers on Salina, and a visit to the Hauner winery with a tasting of wines and typical local products.
Costs do not include: packed lunches for all days (except for the day of the winery tasting), travel expenses to/from Milazzo, hydrofoil tickets between the islands, and unspecified extra expenses. Single room supplement € 25,00 per night.

Balance: € 350,00 - Do not send; please bring it with you and pay on-site.
Meeting point: Friday, April 07, meeting at 08:45 at the Port of Milazzo in front of the Liberty Lines hydrofoil boarding area. For those arriving by car, it is important to park in one of the paid parking lots. Hydrofoil tickets can be purchased individually or as a group; for the latter option, please confirm at the time of booking. If anyone prefers to buy individual tickets, I will provide the hydrofoil schedule.
