Cava dei Servi: Between Nature and History

May 1st, 2023
A hiking Sunday for Labor Day. We thought it would be wonderful to combine a much-desired walk with some points of interest and a tasting break. Our connection with nature deepens as we traverse and walk through valleys, rivers, woods, and historic sites where human presence has left ancient traces. A route of remarkable natural beauty, set amidst the typical vegetation of river canyons characterized by Mediterranean scrub. The Tellesimo stream flows along the valley; it rises in the Bellocozzo district, within Cava dei Servi, and after about ten kilometers, it flows into the Tellaro river in the territory of Noto. To conclude our hiking day, we will have lunch at the Agriturismo Tenuta Carbonara.

Not included: fuel costs for travel.
