Riserva dello Zingaro - Monte Cofano and Scopello

Against a stunning, picture-perfect backdrop, our hearts are “going gypsy” again for the Liberation Day holiday. After a couple of years, we are excited to share our steps along these scenic trails once more. The itinerary features hikes at Monte Cofano in the bay of Custonaci and the Riserva dello Zingaro, from the San Vito Lo Capo entrance all the way to Scopello. We will traverse one of the most beautiful nature reserves; "Lo Zingaro," described by naturalists as "the most beautiful and solitary place in Sicily," with no roads, accessible only on foot or by boat from the sea. At the end of our final day, there will be an opportunity to swim in the stunning waters of the Riserva dello Zingaro.

Fee: € 70,00 - Includes guide service, accident insurance, and excursion organization.
Other expenses: € 120,00 – Includes: overnight stays in apartments on Saturday and Sunday in double or triple rooms, dinners on Saturday and Sunday, and breakfasts on Sunday and Monday.
Costs do not include: round-trip travel expenses to the meeting point and packed lunches for each day.
Deposit: € 70,00 at the time of registration.

Travel: private car.
Difficulty: challenging.
Daily walking hours: 5 to 6 hours.
Meals: dinners and breakfasts at the restaurant.
Required equipment: trekking clothing, high-cut hiking boots, sun hat, trekking poles, shower sandals, rain poncho (k-way), sweater, waterproof jacket, water bottle, swimsuit, and personal toiletries.
Notes: the excursion will be conducted in accordance with current Covid-19 regulations. A few days before the hike, we will send you an email with the latest information.
