Catching up on the 5th Stage of Ibleiround with "Ricotta in Allegria"

As true Sicilians who love our land, and in our constant wandering through the beloved Iblei countryside, we have conceived and structured a grand loop trail across the Iblei: #ibleiround.
It is the perfect journey to savor and enjoy, first the gentle hills of the Iblei and then the small villages that populate these wonderful landscapes. In the soul of a regular hiker, "knowledge" leads to inner and outer growth: and so, these places help us in this constant development. On this journey, we will experience history, culture, traditions, nature, crafts, and wisdom... but above all, we will "live" the path. Living the journey & sharing the passion.
The trail was organized into 5 stages, starting from the Iblean capital, Ragusa, in January and concluding back in Ragusa in May. We are catching up on the final stage on Sunday, November 20, 2022, as it was previously postponed due to poor weather conditions.
5th Stage: Chiaramonte Gulfi - Ragusa
And here we are at the end of this long and wonderful journey that we have shared along trails, royal drover roads, mule tracks, and city alleys of unparalleled splendor that only the Iblei territory can offer us. Today's stage will not lack views of a large part of Sicily, stretching from the Mediterranean to the north of Etna; we will cross this stretch of the Iblei plateau amidst dry-stone walls, green fields, and the colors of spring flowers. Finally, we will continue through the San Leonardo valley, reaching Ragusa, Piazza San Giovanni.

Fee: € 25,00 - Includes guide services, tasting of local products accident insurance, and excursion organization. For insurance purposes, we kindly ask you to send us your: full name and tax code (codice fiscale).
The fee does not include: travel to and from the meeting point. Car shuttle service provided by the organization.

Itinerary: trails, forest tracks, drover roads, and Iblei countryside.
Travel: own car.
Difficulty: challenging.
Required equipment: trekking clothing, small backpack, hiking boots, trekking poles, hat, sunscreen, sweater, waterproof jacket, and 1.5 liters of water.
