Snowshoeing on Etna

Join us for a snowshoeing adventure to experience the magic of the volcano in winter, wandering through birch, beech, and pine forests and across the slopes of ancient craters. Snowshoes allow us to reach and enjoy the most beautiful spots on Etna without any particular technical difficulty. A spectacular landscape and the perfect atmosphere to recharge your energy in the open air. The route will be on the northern side, in the area between Rifugio Baracca and Piano Provenzana.   

Fee: € 25,00 – Includes guide services, snowshoe and pole rental, RCT insurance, and excursion organization. In the absence of snow, we will proceed with a hiking excursion; in this case, without the use of snowshoes, the cost will be € 20,00.
Expenses not included: round-trip travel expenses to reach the meeting point.
Travel: own car (drivers must bring snow chains).

Loop trail: approximately 4/5 hours of walking.
Difficulty: moderate.
Required equipment: trekking clothing, raincoat, gaiters, small backpack, hiking boots, wool hat, sweater, windbreaker, gloves, 1.5 liters of water, (for drivers, snow chains).
Notes: the excursion will be conducted in accordance with current Covid-19 regulations. A few days before the excursion, we will send you an email with the latest information.
The excursion may be subject to changes due to unpredictable natural events; in such cases, the guide will make the final decision.
