Snowshoeing on Etna - Craters and Snowy Lava Flows

Join us for a snowshoeing adventure to experience the magic of the volcano in winter, trekking through birch, beech, and larch pine forests and across the slopes of ancient craters. With snowshoes, you can easily reach and enjoy the most beautiful spots on Etna without any particular technical difficulty. A spectacular setting and the perfect atmosphere to recharge your energy in the open air. The route will be on the north side, in the area between Rifugio Baracca and Piano Provenzana.

Fee: € 25.00 – Includes guide services, snowshoe and pole rental, RCT insurance, and excursion organization. In the absence of snow, we will hike on foot; in this case, without the use of snowshoes, the cost will be € 20.00.
Expenses not included: round-trip travel expenses to reach the meeting point.
Travel: own car (drivers must bring snow chains).

Loop trail: approximately 4/5 hours of walking.
Difficulty: moderate.
Required equipment: trekking clothing, rain jacket (k-way), gaiters, small backpack, hiking boots, wool hat, sweater, windbreaker, gloves, 1.5 liters of water, (for drivers, snow chains).
