Snowshoeing on Etna - Walking on Snow

Join us for a snowshoe hike to experience the magic of the volcano in winter, crossing through forests of birch, beech, and larch pine, and traversing the slopes of ancient craters. With snowshoes, you can reach and enjoy the most beautiful spots on Etna without any particular technical difficulty. A spectacular place and a perfect atmosphere to recharge your energy in the open air. The route will be on the north side, in the area between Rifugio Baracca and Piano Provenzana.

Fee: € 25.00 – Includes guide services, snowshoe and trekking pole rental, RCT insurance, and excursion organization. In the absence of snow, we will proceed with a hike on foot; in this case, without the use of snowshoes, the cost will be € 20.00.
Expenses do not include: round-trip travel expenses to reach the meeting point.
Travel: own car (drivers must bring snow chains).

Loop route: approximately 4/5 hours of walking.
Difficulty: medium.
Required equipment: trekking clothing, rain jacket (k-way), gaiters, small backpack, hiking boots, wool hat, sweater, windbreaker, gloves, 1.5 liters of water (for drivers, snow chains).
