Full Moon Evening by the Sea - Storyteller Performance at Costa di Carro

Full moon nights have always cast a special spell over places, people, and the landscape as a whole. Join us for a different kind of evening as we walk along the coastline from Cava d’Aliga to Sampieri. It is a highly evocative route, bathed in the nocturnal atmosphere of moonlight, winding through cliffs, beaches, and Mediterranean scrub. This walk across rocks and sand allows us to safely follow the coastline while admiring its natural beauty, especially at sunset. Before we arrive, we will enjoy a performance by the Cantastorie (traditional storyteller) Peppino from Monterosso Almo, who was awarded in Palermo last year. This local artist will use his classic illustrated posters to recount historical passages, both ancient and recent, from Sicily.

Fee: € 20.00 - Includes guide services, RCT insurance, and the storyteller performance.
Not included: packed dinner and fuel costs to reach the meeting point.
Meeting point: Saturday, July 24th at 7:30 PM - In the parking lot on the right side at the exit of Cava d’Aliga towards Sampieri. Click the link below for the Google location.

Lunch: packed dinner.
Route: approx. 4 hours of walking, including the performance; dirt roads, marked and unmarked trails.
Travel: own vehicle.
Difficulty: easy.
Required equipment: trekking clothing, small backpack, k-way (rain jacket), hiking boots, waterproof jacket, flashlight, 1.5 liters of water, beach towel, and swimsuit for those who wish to take a midnight dip.
