Night Trek on Etna and the Summit Craters

High-altitude bivouac – Sunrise and Summit Craters. These are destinations every hiker should have on their bucket list: the most coveted and scenic spots on Etna.
The experience of a bivouac, the wonder of waking up at sunrise at an altitude of 2880 m, the allure of the central craters, and the majesty of the Valle del Bove—all gathered together for the first time over two fantastic days, placing you in front of one of the most evocative natural spectacles in Europe.

Price: € 55,00 - Includes guide service, RCT insurance, organization, and a Volcanological guide. (If safety conditions prevent us from reaching the Summit Craters and we do not use the Volcanological guide, the cost will be reduced by € 20,00).
Costs do not include: travel expenses to the meeting point, dinner, breakfast, and packed lunches.

Highlights: lunar landscapes, lava flows, Summit Craters, and sunrise at 2900 meters.

Max number of participants: 15
Required equipment: trekking clothing, backpack, hiking boots, hat, winter sleeping bag, sleeping pad, sunscreen, sweater, waterproof jacket, neck warmer, gloves, face mask, flashlight, 2.5 liters of water, packed dinner for Saturday, and packed breakfast and lunch for Sunday.
N.B. We respect, care for, and accept the rules for the good of all. Two days before, we will send you an email with two attachments regarding Covid-19 information and a Word file (1 page) that you must fill out and sign, to be handed in as a hard copy before the start of the excursion.
The excursion may be subject to changes due to unpredictable natural events; in such cases, an alternative route will be taken if possible.
