Traditional Olive Harvest with Tasting - Tenuta Chiaramonte

An oasis of relaxation in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature. Nestled in the countryside of Ragusa, this is a haven of peace and tranquility, offering a splendid view over the Iblei landscape and coastline. It is a passion for the land and its fruits, which are cultivated with absolute respect for our environment. The estate encompasses olive oil production, the "Relais Chiaramonte" hotel, and the "Gramole" restaurant, combining a love for nature, the beauty of the surrounding territory, and the excellence of our wonderful land's produce. Our proposal: to actively participate in the olive harvest, then move from the olive groves to the mill to follow every step of the oil production process, and conclude right at the mill with a communal table to taste the excellent freshly pressed oil, accompanied by warm bread and local products.

Fee: € 20.00 includes – Olive oil and local product tasting, guide services, RCT insurance, and organization.
Expenses not included: fuel costs for travel.

Difficulty: easy.
Olive harvest: approximately 3 hours + olive oil and local product tasting.
Loop trail: approximately 3 hours of walking – Track, marked and unmarked paths.
Required equipment: trekking clothing, small backpack, k-way (rain jacket), hiking boots, waterproof jacket, hat, 1.5 liters of water.
