An oasis of relaxation in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature. Nestled in the countryside of Ragusa, this peaceful haven offers a splendid view of the Iblei landscape and coastline. A dream transformed into an estate that carries the legacy of an unforgettable tradition into the present and, undoubtedly, into the future. It is a passion for the land and its fruits, cultivated with absolute respect for our environment. The estate's activities include olive oil production, the "Relais Chiaramonte" hotel, and the "Gramole" restaurant, combining a love for nature, the beauty of the surrounding territory, and the goodness of the products our wonderful land yields every day.
Driven by our passion for the beauty of our territory, we immediately and enthusiastically accepted the invitation to map out trails within the estate. We are inaugurating the path crafted by Salvo, Saro, and Giovanni with this first trek as spring begins. Today, we will walk among the olive trees, giving you the chance to see up close the beauty of these trees, so well-tended according to ancient tradition. Along the way, we will encounter much of the Mediterranean scrub flora, particularly the majesty of centuries-old trees like the carob, a dominant plant in our Iblei territory. Our journey within the estate would not be complete without walking a stretch of an ancient "regia trazzera" (royal sheep track) bordered by dry-stone walls; these roads once ensured communication between distant and nearby towns, trade, and the transhumance of animals. Imagine how much human history has passed through these ancient, now-abandoned paths. We will conclude our walk at the restaurant with a lunch of typical local products, where the excellence of the estate's main product, olive oil, takes center stage.

Fee: € 30.00 includes guide services, RCT insurance, excursion organization, and lunch at the “Tenuta Chiaramonte” estate.
Not included: fuel costs for travel.
