Pedagaggi - Ferla (SR)

October 25, 2020.
This is more than just a nature hike; it’s a journey with breathtaking views. We will follow an ancient 'regia trazzera' (royal sheep track) that, until the 1970s, was the daily route for many workers from Cassaro and Ferla heading to the citrus groves of Pedagaggi, Lentini, and Francofonte. The first part of our trek features an ascent that allows us to admire the landscape between Lentini and Francofonte from above, revealing a ev255-1.jpg vegetation that differs from what we will encounter once we cross the highest point. In fact, at the end of the climb, we will cross a small plateau that leads us into a completely different landscape.
