The snow-capped “Mongibello”. (Etna).

February 02, 2019
A passion for the mountains means Etna. A high-altitude snowshoe hike, a magnificent place to recharge both mind and body. Our characteristic loop trail will start and end at Piano Vetore (approx. 1,750 m altitude).
We will pass through old craters and lava flows, and if conditions are favorable, we will treat ourselves to a wonderful snowshoeing experience. The setting, the history, and the typical winter mountain landscapes ev229-1.jpg will provide the backdrop for this early February Sunday, as we look forward to a year full of walks and discoveries in nature with Ciaotrekking.
Perhaps it’s the place, or maybe the atmosphere... but we will fully enjoy this walk; a sweet break awaits as we enjoy our meal at high altitude. We will head back, passing through a dense, snow-covered pine forest with a rich and lively undergrowth in the final stretch.
