We are thrilled to be building new and in-depth projects, and we are excited to present an initiative that will offer you more hiking options than ever before.
We have named our group OutdoorXperience, joining forces, guides, and professional expertise, combining our established efforts with a passion for nature and the responsible work of guiding people. Our OutdoorXperience mission: We are a working group that carries out hiking and cultural activities throughout Sicily, Italy, and abroad. A deep interest in nature, environmental care, and the enhancement of our territories are the values that unite us. Spreading and sharing the love and knowledge of the land, the identity of the places, and the people involved are our main goals! Our mission is to provide unique experiences through various types of itineraries and excursions, whether for one day or several.
Outdoor activities also represent an important opportunity to practice sports and gain awareness of the general benefits of physical activity in the open air and in nature. We take care of everything from the start, offering the skills we have available through our teamwork. Team: Our work team is made up of 5 AIGAE guides and leaders with experience in different territories and geographical areas, covering a varied range of hiking styles from the simplest to the most adventurous. They are joined by 3 competent collaborators in various areas who complete and organize the work of the guides, before, during, and after the activities. On our website www.outdoorxperience.it, in the “About Us” section, you can discover the story of each member of our team.
A brief note on the day we will spend together: The countryside of Tenuta Rizzarello rises just a few steps from Monte Arcibessi, near the old “Ciccio Pecora” train railway and a few kilometers from two equipped forest areas. The entire surrounding territory is enriched by the beauty of a network of dry-stone walls. The excursion is interesting for its landscape, natural features, and the history linked to these places. Along the path, you will find various species of trees and shrubs of the Mediterranean flora, including pines, carob trees, poplars, cypresses, walnut trees, hackberry, butcher's broom, mastic, wild olive trees, spurges, etc. At the end of the hike, a social lunch is planned inside the
facility.
Participation fee (lunch expenses): € 20.00, including guide service and RCT insurance.
