New Year's Eve Trekking on Etna

December 30th, 2020 to January 3rd, 2021
Let’s celebrate the New Year with daily high-altitude routes, ranging from 1,000 to 2,500 meters, featuring both classic trails and “off-piste” variations to better explore and enjoy the beauty of the mountain. New Year's on Etna is always a guarantee of great trekking and fun. We have planned a program with plenty of excursions, adapted to the times and the safety conditions dictated by common sense as well as current regulations. We will offer a daily program from December 30th to Sunday, January 3rd. For those wishing to join the full program, we recommend finding accommodation in Zafferana Etnea, an ideal starting point for our daily treks.

Fee: 5 days € 80.00 - € 20.00 per daily excursion – Includes guide services, RCT insurance, and excursion organization. In the presence of snow, we will use snowshoes. The daily rental cost for snowshoes and poles is € 5.00.
Costs do not include: travel expenses to reach the meeting point.

Difficulty: challenging.
Daily walking hours: from 5 to 7.
Required equipment: winter trekking clothing, trekking boots, wool hat, gloves, trekking poles, rain jacket (k-way), sweater, flashlight, winter waterproof jacket, 1.5 liters of water.

The excursions may be subject to changes due to unpredictable natural events; in such cases, an alternative route will be taken if possible.
