Trekking in the Heart of Sicily - Monti Erei

A true journey into the “heart of Sicily,” exploring the nature and spring colors surrounding the Enna area. This will be a genuine exploration on foot, following ancient trazzere (traditional shepherd paths) and trails with panoramic views of the rolling green hills always in the background. You will experience local initiatives run by young people who believe in and invest in their land, highlighting its nature and local flavors. You will meet our hosts and partners for this weekend, Michele and Carmen, the managers of the Officina Agro Culturale Cafeci, who will accompany us throughout all the organized activities.

Other expenses: € 55,00 Expenses include: overnight stay in a rural guesthouse (accommodation in double and triple rooms), Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast, and Sunday packed lunch.
Expenses do not include: fuel for travel, Saturday packed lunch, and any extra expenses not specified.
Deposit: € 25,00 at the time of booking, required to confirm your spot.
Meeting point: Saturday, March 23 at 09:00 AM at the Mulinello exit of the A19 Catania/Palermo motorway (heading towards Palermo). Those coming from the opposite direction of the motorway, same time and place.
End of excursion: Sunday, March 24 at 05:30 PM, R.N.O. Rossomanno.

Booking: by March 15.
Required equipment: trekking clothing, hiking boots, winter jacket, rain poncho, fleece, wool hat, gloves, flashlight, 1.5 liters of water, a spare t-shirt, and personal toiletries.
Notes: the excursion may be subject to changes due to unpredictable natural events and, in such cases, an alternative route will be taken if possible.
