Magnificent Crete - Samaria Gorge National Park

Crete: an exotic island of exceptional natural beauty, offering an experience of such abundance between trekking in stunning nature, the sea, and the gorgeous beaches of Elafonissi and Marmara Bay—perfect spots to spend the afternoon after every hike. Western Crete is also well-known for the small, charming villages of Sougia, Agia Roumeli, and Loutro, all nestled along the coast of the Libyan Sea, accessible only by foot or ferry, far from any form of civilization. We will enjoy cultural visits to cities that reveal traces of the oldest European civilization, followed by tastings of fine local wine.
Logistics: Crete involves travel along various routes and through the cities we will explore. For this reason, and because it is a popular destination for many Northern European groups who book well in advance, we must organize ourselves by the June deadline—the recommended date to book flights early and save money for everyone.

Fee: € 260.00 - Includes guide service, Global Assistance (Travel care) insurance, and excursion organization.
Other expenses: € 480.00 - Expenses include: B&B and Hotel accommodation in double and triple rooms, dinners (excluding the first night's dinner), and daily breakfasts.
The costs do not include: round-trip airfare to reach the meeting point, local transfers (car rental approx. € 80.00 + fuel, excluding excess per person for the entire stay), daily packed lunches, the first night's dinner, and unspecified extra expenses.
Deposit: € 250.00 at the time of booking.
Balance: € 490.00 to be paid on-site.
Meeting point: Friday, September 20th at 4:00 PM at Chania Airport (Crete). Flight tickets are purchased directly by participants once the trip is confirmed (min. 8 participants). The flight routes and times to book will be communicated upon trip confirmation.
End of trip: Sunday, September 29th at 9:00 AM at Chania Airport (Crete).

Nights: accommodation in B&Bs and Hotels.

Tips: 30-liter backpack for daily hikes and heavy luggage to be transported by shuttle/boat round-trip from Sougia to Agia Roumeli.
