Full Moon at Pantalica and Canyoning in the Calcinara - SR

Our summer proposals are always adventurous and full of fresh surprises to immerse you in nature and offer original experiences. Pantalica is always evocative, the most beautiful and vast UNESCO naturalistic and archaeological site. A fun fact: the name Pantalica derives from the Arabic "buntarigah", meaning caves, in reference to the countless natural and artificial caves in the area. We will enjoy the pleasant sensation of walking by the light of the full moon, overlooking unique panoramic spots to admire the valley. To complement the charm of the night walk, the following day we offer the experience of immersing ourselves in the cool waters of the Calcinara, taking in the unique view of the canyon from within. A two-day adventure to have fun and experience nature with intensity.

Fee: € 25.00 - Includes guide service, RCT insurance, and organization.
Other expenses: € 50.00 - Includes: overnight stay in an Agriturismo, Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast, and Sunday packed lunch.
Expenses do not include: fuel costs for travel.
Meeting point: Saturday, August 17th at 6:30 PM, Ferla, Piazza Sant’Antonio.
End of excursion: Sunday, August 18th at 5:30 PM, Ferla.
Travel: own car.
Dinner and breakfast: at the Agriturismo.
Difficulty: medium.
Loop trails for both days: approximately 4.5 hours of walking including breaks – forest track, marked path, and riverbed.
Required equipment: trekking clothing, small backpack, k-way (rain jacket), hiking boots, waterproof jacket, flashlight, closed-toe water shoes, for those sensitive to cold water we recommend bringing a wetsuit, swimsuit, 1.5 liters of water.
