Licodia Eubea - Grammichele

There are places where the shifting structure of the land creates and releases an array of endless colors. Today's excursion, along the trail between Licodia and Grammichele, will feature exactly this. We will begin our hike in the heart of Licodia, and after just a few steps, we will find ourselves immersed in the valley that connects the two towns. Heading north, the landscape will reveal gypsum rock formations that are truly intriguing for their unique characteristics. We will walk through a wonderful setting, surrounded by vast expanses of greenery and breathtaking views. We will have the chance to observe numerous bird species and admire the blooming of wild orchids and gypsum-loving flora, typical of these chalky environments. Our break/refreshment stop will be inside a typical noble Iblei farmhouse. Our final destination will be the main square of Grammichele, famous for its unique hexagonal layout.

The fee does not include: travel to and from the meeting point.
