Epifania, all the holidays are over - Etna

Etna offers unforgettable landscapes in every season! So, what better way to start the year than with a hike on Mongibello? The red of the sun and the black of the lava flows, combined with winter colors, will provide us with photographic memories of a splendid walk to kick off 2019. We will pass through old craters and lava flows and perhaps… if conditions are favorable, we might even get to hike on the snow. The location, the history, and the typical landscapes of the winter mountains will set the scene for this Sunday in early January, as we wish each other a year full of walks and discoveries in nature with Ciaotrekking.

Fee: € 15.00 - Includes guide service, RCT insurance, and organization.
Expenses do not include: travel to the meeting point and return.
Meeting point: Sunday 06/01/2019 at 07:30 AM at the Lukoil gas station, C/da Coffa – Chiaramonte Gulfi.
End of excursion: Sunday 06/01/2019 at 05:00 PM.

Loop trail: 5 hours of walking – Forest track, marked path.
Difficulty: moderate. Suitable for regular hikers.
Lunch: packed lunch.
Required equipment: trekking clothing, rain jacket (k-way), gaiters, small backpack, hiking boots, flashlight, wool hat, sweater, windbreaker, gloves, 1 liter of water, (for drivers, snow chains).
