Autumn in the Nebrodi - From Sella del Contrasto to Lago Biviere

This is one of the best times of year to enjoy the most beautiful views and natural settings of the Park, from the beech forests to the mountain lakes, all dressed in the first orange hues of Autumn. A journey of nearly 60 km near the mountain ridge of the largest protected area in Sicily. You will be amazed by the extraordinary variety of environments, landscapes, flora, and fauna encountered during the trek: botanical rarities, the Tassita woods, and wetlands like Maulazzo and Biviere, not to mention the spectacular viewpoints along the circuit. Throughout our journey, we will also have the chance to stay in and discover some truly special places. We will stop in Capizzi with our friends Piro and Cettina, and at Villa Miraglia, a precious little mountain Relais that stands as a symbol of the Nebrodi. We will conclude our final day by climbing to the highest peak in the park, Monte Soro, and reaching the Laghi Biviere and Maulazzo.

Fee: € 60.00 - Includes guide service, RCT insurance, and excursion organization.
Other expenses: € 125.00. Expenses include: overnight stays in B&Bs and at Rifugio Villa Miraglia in double, triple, or quadruple rooms, dinners and breakfasts from the evening of the first day until the morning of the last, and packed lunches.
Costs do not include: round-trip travel to the meeting and end points, and any extra expenses not specified.
Deposit: € 80.00 upon registration.
Balance: € 105.00 to be paid on-site.
Meeting point: Friday, October 18th at 08:00 AM at Bar Millenium in Capizzi. Those who wish to avoid an early start can join us on Thursday at 06:30 PM at the same location in Capizzi. The cost for half-board + Friday's packed lunch is € 50.00.
End of trip: Sunday, October 20th at 06:00 PM at Rifugio Villa Miraglia.
