Go Trekking 360° - 2018 Calendar Presentation

A new hiking calendar, our third with the CiaoTrekking project, which we have named “Go Trekking 360°” this year because it faithfully expresses what you will find in our proposals: a complete vision and a commitment to helping you discover and revisit places both near and far, to walk and explore, to challenge yourselves with new adventures and long-distance treks—in short, everything we can do to share our passion and curiosity. As always, we invite you to challenge your limits, to get to know and explore nature, to travel on foot, and to discover the benefits and well-being that come with walking.
A brief note on the day we will spend together: The countryside of the Tenuta Rizzarello estate lies just a stone's throw from Monte Arcibessi, the old “Ciccio Pecora” train line, and a few kilometers from two equipped forest areas. The entire surrounding territory is enriched by the beauty of a network of dry-stone walls. The excursion is interesting for its landscape, natural features, and the history tied to these places. Along the path, you will find various species of trees and shrubs of the Mediterranean flora, including pines, carob trees, poplars, cypresses, walnut trees, hackberry, butcher's broom, mastic, wild olive trees, and spurge. At the end of the hike, we have planned a social lunch inside the facility.

Participation fee (lunch expenses): € 20,00.
Meeting point: Sunday at 08:30 at the Campo Boario parking lot along the provincial road 10 Ragusa - Chiaramonte G., or at 09:00 at the Agriturismo Tenuta Rizzarello, in the territory of Monterosso Almo. COORDINATES: 37°02'34.3" N, 14° 44' 06.8" E; Lat 37.042861 Long 14.735222.
End of excursion: 16:30 at the same meeting point.

Route: 4 hours of walking – Regia trazzere (royal sheep tracks), trail.
Required equipment: winter trekking clothing, small backpack, k-way (rain jacket), hiking boots, waterproof jacket, hat, sweater, 1 liter of water.
