Feudo Arancio - Sambuca Di Sicilia

Nature, wineries, vineyards, and wine: this is what we have in store for you this weekend, coinciding with the Cantine Aperte event.
Saturday, May 26th: Our journey takes us to Sambuca di Sicilia, voted the "Borgo dei Borghi" (Village of Villages) in 2016. We will begin our hike right from Lago Arancio. This area is renowned for its vineyards and olive groves, yet it remains a place where nature has stayed pure and wild, untouched by human interference. We will traverse the Bosco della Risinata, following a loop trail that offers several natural viewpoints. We will extend our walk to the mouth of the Rincione river, which flows naturally into Lago Arancio. We will take the time to savor the peace and nature that will frame our "natural" break. In the afternoon, we will head to a tuff quarry, striking for its colors and shapes. We will conclude by returning to our starting point before heading to our accommodation for Saturday night.
Sunday, May 27th: Sunday will be entirely dedicated to the "Feudo Arancio" estate. We will start with a walk through the vineyards, alternating between passages and natural landscapes: woods, lakes, citrus groves, and olive groves. Immediately after lunch, we will head to the main baglio (traditional Sicilian courtyard farmstead) for a wholesome wine tasting. We will wrap up the afternoon with a visit to the winery, the heart of their wine production and storage.

Fee: € 35,00 - Includes guide service, RCT insurance, and organization.
Other expenses: € 65,00 – Includes: overnight stay in a local estate in double or triple rooms, Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast, Sunday packed lunch, and a visit with tasting at the Feudo Arancio winery.
The fee does not include: Saturday packed lunch and fuel costs for travel to the excursion locations.
Meeting point: Saturday, May 26th, 2018 at 06:30 AM at Bar Lukoil, C.da Coffa S.S. 514 - Chiaramonte Gulfi (RG) - Or at the Sciacca exit towards Menfi at 09:00 AM.

Duration: 2 days / 1 night in an Agriturismo.
Required equipment: trekking clothing, backpack, hiking boots, hat, waterproof jacket, sweater, 1.5 liters of water, and personal toiletries.
