The Path of the Three Cava

An intense and pure trekking experience, a walk filled with smiles & sweat. Today, our boots will tread a path full of discoveries, following trails and mule tracks that will reveal magnificent hidden corners: Misericordia, Paradiso, and Chiaramiri. For long stretches, we will cross paths where nature remains untouched, leading us through truly enchanting passages. We will set off from our beloved Cava Misericordia and complete a loop, savoring the Iblei plateau and crossing over the ridges within our Ragusa canyons. The day will also feature a refreshing dip in the Mastratto.
Please note that this excursion is considered demanding due to the nature of the terrain.

Fee: € 10.00 - Includes guide service, organization, and RCT insurance.
Not included: packed lunch and fuel costs for travel.
Meeting point: Sunday at 08:30 AM, Campo Boario, S.P.10 Ragusa/Chiaramonte Gulfi.
End of excursion: 06:00 PM at the same starting point.
Travel: own car.
Difficulty: demanding.
Route: 8 hours of walking, approximately 18 km, average elevation change of 250m descent and 350m ascent – Regia trazzere (historic royal paths), marked and unmarked trails.
Lunch: packed.
Equipment: required: trekking clothing, small backpack, k-way (rain jacket), trekking boots, waterproof jacket, hat, sweater, 2 liters of water.
