Contemplating the Moon - Lago Santa Rosolia

The places, the trails, and the people make every journey special; add a full moon night to all of this, and the result will be truly unique. The chosen location is perfect for an evening of contemplation, far from the usual city hustle and bustle. An “illuminated” night, a walk through the woods and the Iblei plateau, accompanied by the sounds of the night… we’ll leave the rest to your imagination.
Patroness of births, mistress of harvests and good wine, but also mad and capricious, capable of bringing our darkest instincts to the surface. Legends and bizarre superstitions have always surrounded the Moon. (Source: Focus)
Every story could begin this way… we have all the locations to describe it: Chiesa Santa Rosalia, Torre San Filippo, Muegghi, and masserie (traditional fortified farmhouses). We will follow a loop trail, returning to the starting point.

Fee: € 10,00 - Includes guide service, RCT insurance, and organization.
The fee does not include: travel to and from the meeting point.
Lunch: packed lunch.
Meeting point: 7:00 PM at Campo Boario, S.P.10 Ragusa/Chiaramonte Gulfi
End of excursion: 12:00 AM at the same starting point. 
Travel: own car
Difficulty: easy.
Loop trail: 3.5 hours of walking – approx. 8 km – on and off-trail paths.
Required equipment: trekking clothing, small backpack, k-way (rain jacket), hiking boots, waterproof jacket, flashlight, and 1.5 liters of water.
